Styles Of Christmas :: Christmas Garland
When thinking of Christmas garland one of fresh pine or fir is always nice. But traditionally garlands have been made of many things. For the tree you will find garland beads of many colors in wood, metal, plastic and glass. Or the time consuming but fun to do as a family stringing of popcorn and cranberries into garlands. Which looks great indoors on the tree and outdoors will feed our feathered friends. At school the walls are allways strung with garland made from construction paper of green and red. Tinsel and pine (artificial or not) garland looks festive draped around the vigas (beams) on a adobe home or on the railings of your stairway. Berries, twigs, leaves and vines are just as commonly used for Christmas garland. The choices are many!
